Description - The dryer is composed by means of a chamber where a perforated cylinder rotates. It is built by a strong structure of metallic bars. The external panels with high insulating power delimit the aerothermic chamber. Some disassemble panels allows an easy access to the inside. The drying is obtained by means of the hot air passage crossing the product thanks to the internal drum depressure. This depressure is caused by means of a centrifugal ventilator at high efficiency with reverse blades, driven by AC motor of 5,5 kW inverter controlled.
Drying Chamber - With n° 1 perforated drum of 600 mm Æ, working width 500 (perforated width), drum jacket of steel, of 3 mm thickness. The perforated drum is supported by a special bearing on the fan side. The drum interior is accessible through a covered opening on the drive side. The suction distribution is reached by means of a perforated cylinder with adjustable position, installed in horizontal way inside of the drum, in order to create a uniform loss of charge along the entire working width. The drum is covered by a stainless steel net.
Drum Driving Elements - By means of AC motor frequency controlled.
Inlet device - The dryer is equipped of a idle roll of Ø 80 mm that follows the introduction of the product. The same at the exit.
Ventilation - The drum is equipped with a centrifugal ventilator on one side. The ventilator with reversed blades is at high efficiency. It is supported by strong enbloc with bearings suitable for high temperature.
Cooling by means of special impeller. The ventilator is driven by AC motor, 5,5 Kw, inverter controlled and give a flow of 12.000 m3/h. The hot air of the aerothermic chamber is uniformly distributed by special steel perforated sheets, it is sucked from the drum and forced to cross the material. The air is sucked through the web out of the perforated drum and then it returns to the ventilator and to the burner for the heating. Max speed through the material 3,5 m/? with 10 mm water column pressure drop. Exhaust system in the blowing part of the circuit without ventilator.
Electric heating
Maximum power of 25 + 25 kW electronically controlled.
Dryer insulation - The sturdy sectional steel frame is covered with the insulating panels. The insulation consists of an inner sheet layer which is almost airtightly fastened and is made of galvanised sheet steel. Between this inner sheet shell and the outer sheet shell, insulating distance pieces are provided. Between two sheets, a 90 mm. thick mineral wool mat is inserted. For an easy access and for cleaning purpose, doors are arranged in the dryer.
Exit section - It is formed by an idle roll of a Ø 80 mm. with independent drive.
Electric panel - For temperature, ventilation and drum speed control.
Good for wetlaid nonwovens. |
